Marilynn Vicente was born with dyslexia and her artistic journey started back in 2012. Her mediums include micron pens, acrylic paints, printmaking, spray painting, customizing vinyl figures and ball point pen. She has shown throughout the DFW metroplex, New York, Canada and the United Kingdom. Marilynn has been a featured artist for KERA’s Art and Seek, she has also donated artwork to numerous foundations and charities.
Leaving the art scene in 2019 to focus on writing and self publishing her young adult, science fiction and fantasy novel, ANNAECY. Marilynn never expected for her debut to be sold in Germany, Europe and all across the United States. In the future she hopes to publish her collection of short stories.
In 2026 she began pursuing the path of on obtaining certification in Zumba and now holds dual licenses in Zumba and Zumba Gold.
DEBUT NOVEL- ANNAECY
Artificial military enforcements haven taken over the planet of Annaecy. They have created an environment of their own, and with their advanced technology and strict set of rules, they soon build a regime of intelligent Al species. It is now the year CR-90. Crimson, a young Al, has failed her military training despite doing exceedingly well on her human studies. Little does she know, a real human named Dexter will soon crash land on her planet. Crimson’s new mission is to return Dexter back home. On their journey, they both get sucked onto another planet, throwing them well into the past. Crimson soon discovers the dark secrets her family has been hiding.

This is a story that leaves you wanting more. At the end of every chapter, I never wanted to put the book down. There were a few parts that left me confused because of the time jumps — How the story would shifted into a few months or years ahead but it was still very well written and relatively easy to follow aside from what I mentioned
of time shifts.
The lovely author, Marilynn Vicente, does a great job at jogging the imagination. You almost feel as if you actually know each character. Kaiser (the gentle giant) and his “short but feisty” daughter Floria are probably two of my
favorites. I highly recommend reading this amazing book. I adore it very
much.
